The Aglaia is in my eyes a very versatile and still a very useful salmonfly pattern despite being over 170 years old. It's not very complex, which is very typical for the patterns from Ephemera's book. I have had success with this pattern, and will recommend it for late summer during the morning and noon on sunny days. I suggest sizes from a hook size 4 to 2/0. Keep the wing fairly sparse.
