Silver Doctor (Video)

Silver Doctor has for over a century been a well known salmon fly. Not only is it one of the more popular flies in Great Britain and Scandinavia, but has also proven itself as a great fly for both steelhead and trout in North America and throughout Europe.

it is of course a must have in fly box when I fish the salmon rivers of Northern Norway. Over the years I have experimenting on how to tie it, and after many sub-par results, I have finally found my version of tying it exactly to my liking; and to the salmons liking. The secret lies in the mixed wing. Happy tying.
