This is sort of a Arctic take on the traditional March Brown pattern. All earthy colors, and it is a bit unique due to the Partridge wings. It's meant to imitate the Heptagenia fuscogrisea which is, to my knowledge, the closest specie we have to the Rhithrogena germanica; the true March Brown mayfly.

Hook: Standard dryfly hook, size 12 to 16 Tail: Coq de Leon medium pardo Body: Hen pheasant tail fibers

Ribbing: Narrow dark-violet metallic tinsel Wings: Partridge body feathers Thorax: Hares ear dubbing Hackle: Medium-dark cree rooster hackle Head: UNI 8/0 Fiery Brown

Not the prettiest work of art, but the dull colors makes this a very good imitation for several mayfly species, in particular H. fuscogrisea.
