The Faux Killer Bug is a simple, yet effective nymph for both trout, grayling and arctic char, I have even taken a few salmons on this pattern. The name comes from the use of the Chadwick 447 substitude that Veniard makes, I find it to not resemble the original all that well in dry form, but once it gets wet the color get much duller and more "buggy".
