Many salmon anglers swear by the color green, they're like a cult, and you can recognize their members on that they have a fly with something green in it at the end of their leader. I can't say that I'm a part of this brotherhood, but I do fish green flies on occasions.

Green, Gold & Silver

Hook: Single salmon, size 2 - 8

Thread: Black

Tail: Yellow body hair from calf, a sparse amount

Body: First half of flat gold tinsel, then rest of Green Highlander ice dubbing Ribbing: Oval silver tinsel

Hackle: Highlander Green

Wing: Black foxtail or Tanuki, tied on in two sections with two strands of gold flash in between.
